Cactus Shadows preps for playoff push
The Cactus Shadows Falcons went 5-4 during the two-day Goldwater Invitational.
After going 2-2 Friday at Sunnyslope High School the Falcons, in the
Silver Division of the 32-team event, went 3-2 at Sandra Day O’Connor
High School on Saturday.

Creek rallies for region win over Goldwater
In the Northwest Region Boulder Creek and Goldwater High Schools have
a rival in Surprise that is called the Monsoon. While Valley Vista
High School has the sudden and powerful storms that hit the Valley
each summer as its mascot it was the Jaguars that struck suddenly
and without warning on Wednesday night in Anthem.
