Marc Buckhout/The Foothills Focus Rookies Neighborhood Sports Grill opened their doors earlier this month in Anthem at 3668 W. Anthem Way. Owners Sean Kaye, Tiffany Aden and Jim Ainsworth are three of the six owners for the business. The restaurant lists burgers among their specialties along with catfish sandwiches, pulled pork, flatbread pizzas and wings.

What are your specialties, including dishes, drinks, events, etc.?
All our meals are made fresh not frozen. Catfish sandwich, pulled pork, burgers, flatbread pizzas and wings
A variety of signature drinks including:
First Round Draft signature beer, Kayden Martini, The School teacher, Red Zone, Sparky’s Pitchfork, Shoeless Joe Coffee Drink, Brutus Buckeye, Charlie Hustle, Great Bambino, Usain Bolt and Italian Stallion
Any other highlights, such as happy hour, catering, event rentals, etc.?
Happy hour -   3 – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday. In the bar 9 p.m. to close.

How did you decide to get into this business, and why in its specific location in the North Valley? If there is an event or realization or circumstance that drove you to this work, what is that? Tell a brief story of how you got here and why:

Our families have always talked about owning a restaurant/bar, especially in the community that we live and have worked in. When the opportunity came up, we jumped at the chance to build a place that people would get good food and drinks with local owners who have a commitment to making connections in the community.
