Suspect sought after armed robbery at BCC service station

BLACK CANYON CITY – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an armed robbery at the 76 Service Station in Black Canyon City, on the afternoon of Dec. 20.

According to YCSO, a suspect armed with a handgun in a holster at his waist held up the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white male, thin build, 6’ to 6’03,” black baggie shorts with a shiny belt buckle, black sweatshirt with hood, black and white mask, and last seen driving a driving a dark colored SUV. Witnesses described a possible suspect vehicle as a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer, unknown license plate, faded paint, and riding low in the back as if loaded heavy. The vehicle drove away north on Old Black Canyon Highway.
