Grief counseling offered monthly

On the first Thursday of every month, the MISS Foundation will hold a support group for families who have experienced a child's death at any age and from any cause at 7 p.m. The event takes place at the Center for Loss and Trauma. The North Valley location is 2525 W Carefree Highway 7-148.

The group will be facilitated by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore a family and individual therapist in the field of traumatic death and bereavement. There is no charge to attend group.
The MISS Foundation is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1996 in Arizona that helps families coping with the death of a child.
