Event aids Anthem teen

We Care in Anthem and Sanderson Ford in Phoenix are hosting a Koncert for Katie from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the Anthem Park Amphitheater as a benefit for Anthem teen Katie Wagner.
The Christmas and worship sing along honors Wagner, who was diagnosed with lung and bone cancer earlier this year. The event will feature acoustic performances by Nick Romes, Jessica and Jake VanDyke, Billy Fourt and Destinee Quin,
At 8 p.m. Wagner will select a winning ticket for “Katie’s Kar,” a Ford Focus.
Those attending the event are asked to bring blankets and to leave them for delivery to the homeless on Christmas Eve. For information about this and other events, go to welovekatie.com.
