Anthem seeks volunteers to serve on council

Anthem will have three spots on their seven member board at stake in the upcoming elections in March.
Beginning with the call for candidates on Jan. 2, those interested in serving will have until Jan. 18 to make their candidacy official. Those interested in representing their community should contact their respective Community Manager to learn about requirements.

Elected board members serve three year terms. The ACC owns and operates the community properties on behalf of all Anthem residents including: the Anthem Community Center; the Anthem Community Park and Liberty Bell Park and Splash Pad; the Community Center swimming pool and water park; sports fields and facilities; and entrance monuments and waterfalls. The ACC is responsible for communicating the community’s vision, priorities, programs, services and challenges; develop long-term goals, priorities and objectives for the community; set ACC policies to guide programs and services; review and approve annual budgets, capital plan and reserve funds; guide and evaluate the Community Executive Officer (CEO); and enact and monitor local regulations and governing documents.
