Rollover at New River sends 3 to hospital

A single vehicle rollover Wednesday night northbound on I-17 at New River (exit 232) sent a minor and two adults to the hospital.
Daisy Mountain Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 8:17 p.m. One of the adults and the minor were transported to Valley hospitals via helicopter, while the other adult was transported by ambulance.
The status of the patients was unknown as of press time.
The accident caused I-17 northbound to be shutdown for 45 minutes. Traffic was diverted off the freeway at the New River exit, with motorists able to get right back on the freeway on the frontage road.
