Daisy Mountain Fire Department seeks to fill board vacancy
Staff Report ~ 12/14/2011

Due to a vacancy on the Daisy Mountain Fire Board created by the departure of Roger DeBonis, letters of interest are being solicited to fill the balance of Mr. DeBonis’s four-year term which expires in December of 2012. The Fire Board’s intent is to select a replacement member by January 18, 2012.
The Daisy Mountain Fire District is a special taxing district organized under Arizona state law with five publicly elected board members who serve staggered four year terms. Board members serve without compensation and must reside within the fire district limits and be a registered voter.
The unexpired term is one of two board positions that will be up for election in the November 2012 General Election.
Letters of interest will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Dec. 29. Those interested should include their background, experience and qualifications in the letter of interest.
Prospective candidates will be interviewed by the Fire Board members prior to a selection being made.
