DVUSD accepts tax credit contributions on New Year’s Eve

The Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) will open its doors from 8 a.m. – noon, Dec. 31 at the District Office for those interested in making a last-minute tax credit contribution.
Regardless of whether a donor has a child in school or not, they can take advantage of the credit. The donor gains a tax credit and the school of their choice gains up to $400. Donations can be made to a specific school or simply to the DVUSD. Funds contributed in this manner will be distributed to underserved schools within the district.
To be eligible for an Arizona state tax credit, a contribution must be postmarked by December 31. Donations help students participate in extracurricular activities like sports, the arts, science, technology, and other activities that enrich their education and provide them with valuable life experiences.
