Visitor From the Past |
“I had a dream the other night,
I didn’t understand. A figure walking through the mist, with
flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood
there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking
low, he said:
‘We fought a revolution, to secure our liberty. We wrote the
Constitution, as a shield from tyranny. For future generations,
this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and the home
of the brave.’ |

business rep may be dropped |
Anthem Community Council voted 6-2 June
24 to potentially drop the business sector representative from the
group.
Although council members said they are simply updating bylaws, Donna
Gutowski, the current business representative on the council, said
she believes her outspoken views might have led to the decision.
Gutowski had recently been critical of the council for the publication
of Freedom Way magazine without what she called “full financial
disclosure.”
Prior to the June 24 meeting, the council’s bylaws committee
had met and recommended the business representative no longer sit
on the council.
The decision now moves to representatives of Pulte, Anthem’s
developer. It is undetermined when their final decision will be
made.
