Desert Foothills Library adds new bookstore

Chapter2 Bookstore will conduct a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The store, located at the Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek, will have more than 20,000 books, DVDs and audio books on sale.
Book talks, signings and panel discussions with authors will take place throughout the day.
Visitors will have the opportunity to hear a variety of authors discuss their works during 15-minute intervals throughout the day beginning at 10:15 a.m.
The discussions are listed below
11 a.m.: How to Get Published will include tips from authors CC Harrison, Cathy McDavid and JR McMillan on different approaches to publishing a book. The hour-long, moderated discussion will include techniques for traditional, self and e-book publishing.
1 p.m.: Karen O’Toole, Karen Lejlt and Bob Kaplan will share their experiences about Taking a Book to the Big Screen. The discussion will be moderated by documentary filmmaker Penelope Price.
