Helicopter takes Anthem youth to hospital

A 9-year-old Anthem boy was transported by helicopter to Phoenix Children’s Hospital following injuries he sustained in a fall at his home at approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Daisy Mountain Fire Department public information officer Dave Wilson said the boy was transported in serious condition.
The helicopter landed at Spirit and Independence, stopping traffic in the area.
