Anthem theater group offers summer institute

Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) is offering a two-week program from 9 a.m. – noon July 19-30 for ages 6 – 20 at the Caepe School.
Students will learn vocal technique, dance skills, musical theater style dance, acting, improve, interpretation of songs, advanced audition techniques, and stage presence, as well as get the opportunity to showcase their talents in a performance. All levels are welcome. Performers will be grouped by age experience level.
The workshop will feature numbers from MTA’s third season, including Jungle Book KIDS, Once on this Island Jr., Peter Pan, Honk Jr. (The Story of The Ugly Duckling), and more.
The camp concludes with a July 30 show Friday.
Payment of $195 is due upon registration. There is a 10 percent sibling discount available. Online registration is available at www.musicaltheatreofanthem.org.
