Anthem restaurant aids cancer research

Affinito’s Bistro and Team W.I.S.H. Arizona benefiting Susan G. Komen 3Day For the Cure teamed up to raise more than $1,600 at a dinner earlier this month.
More than 50 items, including an autographed ‘pink ribbon’ golf hat by Phil Mickelson, were raffled. On hand serving ‘Kisses For the Cure” were the Desert Hills Barstool Queens.
In order to walk in the AZ 3Day in the greater Phoenix area on November 12-14, each participant must raised $2,300. For information on the team go to www.teamwisharizona.org
Team W.I.S.H. is a recognized 501c3 and is organized to raise funds for charitable organizations promoting breast cancer education and research.
Since the birth of Team W.I.S.H. Arizona in 2004, the team has raised more than $928,000 and is focused on breaking a goal of $1 million in 2010.
