Former Valley artist performs in Cave Creek

Throughout the month of July, New York resident and artist, Jenna
Wuensche will showcase a new art exhibit called “Life Lines” at Studio
C4 Gallery at Cave Creek Coffee Company. The exhibit will include
paintings, drawings, sketches, and sculptures. Wuensche, known for
her expressionistic take on modern designs, landscapes, animals and
portraits utilizing ink, charcoal, Prismacolors, tempera and acrylic
on paper, board, and canvas.
Passionate about exploring the world, especially through the lens
of her camera, Wuensche finds visual inspiration in a variety of sources
including nature, art and architecture.
“I am thrilled to present my exhibit to the Arizona market,” Wuensche
said. “The Valley is my home and I have fond memories of the area,
many of which inspired me to become an artist.”
Born in Houston, Texas, Wuensche received her first public art commission
at the age of 14. She studied fine art at Arizona State University
and received her master’s degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art
in London. Currently, Wuensche organizes and promotes art exhibitions
in Manhattan, while serving as an art educator to help children engage
their imaginations and develop artistic abilities.
The Cave Creek Coffee Company also houses an art gallery known as
Studio C4 with monthly rotating contemporary artwork by local artists.
Studio C4 showcases drawings, expressionist paintings and sculptures.
Studio C4 is open on Monday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and
Tuesday-Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Studio C4 is located at
