Fatal accident kills 2 near Black Canyon City

Two men died Saturday morning on Interstate 17 near Black Canyon City after the pickup truck they were traveling in crashed and rolled, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said Jose Aguilera, 21, and Miguel Aguirre, 19, died after the 2004 Dodge pickup truck they were riding in had a tire blowout around 10 a.m. at milepost 253.
The driver, Betty Leyva, 35, of Phoenix lost control and the truck rolled off the road and ejected three passengers, including Aguilera and Aguirre. Leyva is in critical condition in a Valley hospital.
Also traveling in the truck were: Hector Solicz, 12; Estrella Villa, 16, Vanessa Fernandez, 18; Steven Torres, 17; Damien Robio, 19, all are from Phoenix.
Solicz, Torres and Robio were admitted to a Valley hospital. Villa and Fernandez were treated and released. I-17 was closed for almost three hours as a result of the accident.
