Congressional District 3 Forum set for
Anthem

The Daisy Mountain Veterans are hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum
from 7 – 8:30 p.m. June 9, inviting all the U.S. Congressional District
3 candidates to the Daisy Mountain Post Headquarters.
As of press time nine candidates, vying for the seat vacated by retiring
John Shadegg, have confirmed they will attend. The list includes Republicans
Bob Branch, Sam Crump, Pamela Gorman, Leann Hull, Paulina Morris,
Vernon Parker, Edwin Wrinkler, Jim Waring and Steve Moak.
Branch is an Air Force Veteran who has served primarily in the academic
world as the Chair for the School of Business and Technology, Dean
of Technology, Dean of Education, and Campus Director at Northcentral
University. Crump, an Anthem resident, is an Army Veteran, a former
State Representative, and an attorney. Gorman is an ex-State Senator,
Ex-State Representative and a public relations consultant. Hull is
a small business owner. Morris is an elected board member to the Maricopa
County Special Health District and has spent time working for Banner
Health, as an assistant director and administrative counsel to the
Arizona Department of Economic Security. Parker is the Paradise Valley
mayor. Wrinkler is an ex-Paradise Valley Mayor as well as a businessman.
Waring is an ex-State Senator. Moak runs a non-profit, notMYkid Inc,
dedicated to inspiring positive life choices.
