ProMusica pays tribute to Vets with patriotic
performance

ProMusica Arizona’s “Sounds of America” concert will include a 7:30
p.m. May 15 performance as well as a 4 p.m. May 16 show at Boulder
Creek High School.
The patriotic show is not only the season finale for ProMusica, but
also will be a tribute to Veterans as well as the first opportunity
for those interested to purchase pavers for the Anthem Veterans Memorial.
The program begins with the debut of the newly formed Youth Honor
Choir under the direction of Pat Knaus, followed by the adult chorale
singing such traditional songs as “Yankee Doodle,” “The Yellow Rose
of Texas,” and a trilogy of patriotic favorites including “My Country
‘Tis of Thee,” “America the Beautiful,” and “This is My Country.”
The orchestra continues the salute to America with “Stars and Stripes
Forever,” “America the Beautiful,” and other traditional songs.
In support of the Anthem Veterans Memorial fundraising efforts, Veterans
and non-Veterans brick pavers will be sold at a Pre-Sale Paver Event
prior to the concert and during intermission. This is the community’s
opportunity be among the first to purchase brick pavers and support
the Anthem Veterans Memorial. Veterans’ pavers are $150 and non-Veterans’
pavers are $200. Only checks and money orders will be accepted at
this event, made payable to the Anthem Community Council. Sales of
brick pavers will begin in at 9 a.m. on May 17, through www.OnlineAtAnthem.com,
the Council/Homeowners office (3701 W. Anthem Way, Suite 102), or
Community Center.
Every adult ticket purchased for the Sunday concert has the option
to obtain two free tickets for children aged 13 and under. These free
tickets are available by calling 623-465-4650 or purchasing them at
Andrew Z and the Deer Valley Credit Union in Anthem. Individual tickets
may also be purchased at Chase Bank and the Community Center.
