Crump announces run for House

Arizona State House Representative Sam Crump, from District 6, is stepping down in order to focus on running for the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona Congressional District Three.
On Saturday Crump, an Anthem resident, had a party to kick off his campaign at Anthem Park.
Crump was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives from District 6 in 2006 and re-elected in 2008. He served as the Chairman of the Government Committee, on the Military and Public Affairs Committee, on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and on K-12 Education.
The event included campaign materials, signature petitions, music, balloons and face painting for kids.
Crump is an attorney and partner in the law firm Boates & Crump. The former captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in government and masters in public administration. He received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
