Youth baseball team seeks new players

The Anthem Rattlers, a youth baseball squad for ages 9 and under, is preparing for the upcoming season. Coach Mike Darrah started the team in the summer of 2011 and formed the team within the Rattlers Baseball travel organization. The team finished the mid-season ranked 1st in the Western U.S. Region and sixth in the nation overall.  The team also finished second at the Winter Nationals in December 2011 and was recognized as the USSSA Arizona mid-season points champions for the 2011-2012 season. 
Although the Rattlers’ take baseball seriously, the team has a lot of fun together learning how to play competitive baseball within a team concept.  The coaching staff has a combined 30 years of experience and truly support and encourage the boys in creating a passion for baseball. In partnership with the players' families, they are committed to the goal of developing honorable young men.  The Rattlers are currently looking for additional players for their 9U (9 years old and under) team and are starting an 8 and under team.
