Presentation highlights Arizona’s national monument

The New River/Desert Hills Community Association (NR/DHCA) will host Peggy Biegler, the Executive Director of the Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crossroads Christian Fellowship.
Biegler will share photographs and information about the wildlife, plants, archaeological, or cultural resources that allowed various areas to be preserved.
Arizona has more National Monuments under the National Landscape Conservation System than any state.
The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church is located at 42425 N. New River Road.
The meeting also marks the beginning of the new year. NR/DHCA is seeking nominees for March’s Board of Director elections. Anyone who is a member in good standing is eligible to run.
