Cave Creek upgrades water treatment plant

The Town of Cave Creek started construction Monday in efforts to build a new wastewater treatment plant to replace the existing treatment on Rancho Manana Blvd.
In adding a new sanitary sewer force main and gravity sewer which will be installed as part of the expansion construction will take place through July 31.
Lane closures will affect approximately 2,500 feet of two lanes of traffic during each closure.
The alignment of the pipeline work include
Rancho Manana Blvd. - which runs from the existing treatment plant east to Cave Creek Road.
Cave Creek Road – which runs from Rancho Manana Blvd. south to Carefree Highway
Carefree Highway – from Cave Creek Road west to new WWTP at 44th St.
According to information on www.cavecreek.org affected residents and businesses will be notified in advance.
